Privacy Policy
How Heyday Marketing collects, uses, shares, and protects information.
Effective date: September 19, 2026
On this page
This Policy explains what Heyday Marketing LLC collects, why we use it, who receives it, how long we keep it, and the choices available to you. Necessary site functions operate without advertising consent; analytics and advertising technologies require your choice.
Data We Collect
- Inquiry data: name, email, phone, company, website, requested service, budget, and message.
- Applicant data: contact details, job interest, LinkedIn or portfolio links, message, resume, and recruitment notes.
- Consent evidence: policy version, choice, date and time, anonymous consent identifier, and a one-way hash of browser information.
- Analytics data, only with permission: anonymous session identifier, pages, duration, referral source, interactions, device, browser, operating system, and country inferred from IP. Raw IP is used for country lookup but is not stored in the page-view record.
- Security data: IP address, browser information, timing, and reCAPTCHA signals used to detect spam, misuse, and security incidents.
- Chat and booking data: Heydi transcript, session identifier, IP address, contact details or business information you choose to provide, and information submitted while scheduling a call. Do not submit sensitive or confidential information through Heydi.
How We Use Data
- Respond to inquiries, prepare proposals, schedule calls, and provide requested services.
- Operate, secure, troubleshoot, and improve the website.
- Measure visits and conversions when analytics consent is granted.
- Measure campaigns and support remarketing when advertising consent is granted.
- Send marketing text messages only when separate SMS consent is granted.
- Meet legal obligations and protect users, Heyday, and third parties.
Depending on applicable law, processing relies on your consent, steps requested before a contract, performance of a contract, legitimate interests in operating and securing the business, or legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing.
Service Providers & Data Transfers
We do not sell personal information for money. Some advertising disclosures may qualify as “sharing” or targeted advertising under state privacy laws. Depending on enabled features, data may be processed by:
- Google: Tag Manager, Analytics, Ads, and reCAPTCHA.
- Meta: Pixel and advertising measurement.
- GoHighLevel / LeadConnector: lead management, booking, and communication.
- Better Proposals: proposal preparation and delivery.
- OpenAI: processing Heydi messages and generating automated responses.
- TikTok, LinkedIn, Elfsight, and TrustIndex: only when their related campaign or site feature is enabled.
- Hosting, email, security, and professional advisers: as needed to operate the business and comply with law.
Providers process data under their own terms and our service arrangements. Data may be processed in the United States or other countries; where required, we use contractual or other recognized transfer safeguards.
Cookies & Similar Technologies
| Category | Examples | Purpose | Typical Duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Necessary | hd_consent, session and security cookies, Heydi session storage | Remember choices, secure forms, maintain requested features | Session to 12 months |
| Analytics | hd_sid, _ga, _ga_* | Measure visits, sources, content use, and performance | Up to 13 months for Heyday analytics; Google duration may vary |
| Advertising | _gcl_au, _fbp, DoubleClick and enabled partner identifiers | Conversion attribution, campaign measurement, and remarketing | Typically minutes to 3 months; provider duration may vary |
Analytics and advertising remain off until you choose them. Select to accept, reject, or change categories. Withdrawing a category stops future collection and removes known first-party identifiers where technically possible. Browser-level third-party cookies may remain until the provider or browser removes them.
Retention
- Heyday page-view and event analytics: up to 13 months, then automatically deleted.
- Anonymous cookie-consent records: up to 24 months to demonstrate and honor choices.
- Website inquiry audit copies: up to 24 months. CRM records are reviewed against the same 24-month standard, unless a client relationship, dispute, accounting rule, contract, or legal obligation requires longer retention.
- Heydi chats that do not become leads: up to 180 days after the last activity. Chats connected to a lead: up to 24 months, unless a client relationship, dispute, or legal obligation requires longer retention. Chat IP addresses are removed after 30 days.
- Job applications and resumes: generally up to 12 months after the hiring process, unless you are hired or law requires longer retention.
- Client and proposal records: for the relationship plus applicable contractual, tax, and legal limitation periods.
- Security logs: only as long as reasonably needed to investigate and prevent abuse.
Your Rights & Choices
Depending on where you live, you may request access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, or objection; withdraw consent; and opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising, or certain profiling. We will verify requests and respond within the period required by applicable law.
Submit a request: email web@heydaymarketing.com with “Privacy Request” in the subject. Describe the right you want to exercise and the email address connected to your interaction. Do not send identity documents until our team explains a secure verification method.
Use to change analytics or advertising choices immediately. Authorized agents may submit requests where local law permits.
Global Privacy Control is treated as an opt-out of advertising sharing for this browser. Do Not Track disables Heyday analytics for this browser. We do not discriminate against users for exercising privacy rights.
Privacy & Website Complaints
Send privacy, accessibility, security, or website complaints to web@heydaymarketing.com with “Website Complaint” in the subject. Include the affected page, date, and a concise description. The website team will route the matter to the appropriate owner and respond as required by applicable law.
To appeal a decision about a privacy request, reply to the original response or email the same address with “Privacy Appeal” in the subject and identify the original request.
Security
We use encryption in transit, access controls, spam protection, secure hosting practices, and limited administrative access. No online system can guarantee absolute security. If a legally reportable incident occurs, we will provide required notices.
Children
This site targets businesses and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their personal information. Contact us to request deletion if you believe a child submitted information.
Changes
We may update this Policy as services, vendors, or legal requirements change. Material changes will appear here with a revised date and, when required, a new consent request.
